10 strips baconsliced in half lengthwise (turkey bacon can be used)
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 - 1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2/3 cup light brown sugarpacked
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, combine the salt, paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
Evenly coat the chicken tenders with the seasoning blend, ensuring both sides are generously covered.
Wrap each seasoned chicken tender with two slices of bacon, tucking in any loose ends.
In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar and chili powder.
Generously sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the bacon-wrapped chicken, pressing it onto both sides to adhere.
Place the prepared chicken tenders on a greased grill pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the bacon is crisp. For extra crispiness, broil for the final few minutes if desired.
Serve immediately while hot. Garnish with parsley if you like
Notes
For best results, ensure the bacon is tightly wrapped around the chicken to keep the seasonings and sugar mixture in place.
